Physical Medicine of the Rockies has advanced training and many years of experience in the performance of cervical spine injections and thoracic spine injections for the diagnosis and treatment of spine and other orthopedic conditions. Often referred to as “interventional pain management” these procedures include spine injections for neck and back pain:

These procedures are performed at an ambulatory surgical center under sterile conditions using fluoroscopy(a form of low dose x-ray) to guide and precisely confirm accurate placement of medicine.
Our providers employ judicious use of injections. Quality care starts with obtaining a detailed history and physical exam as well as review of imaging to obtain an accurate diagnosis. This will occur during your consultation, at the end where we will discuss the spectrum of options which may include injections. Great care is taken to minimize any procedures that are not likely to be helpful.
